Woodlands Pre-school in Ruishton just outside Taunton)offers sessions of child care for families of children from 2 1/2 to 4 years 10 months. At our pre-school we aim to enhance the development and education through play. We aim to provide a safe and stimulating pre-school environment and to work within a framework, which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

Early years education is much more than teaching colours, shapes, numbers and letters. It is about developing strong, curious and confident children. It is about extending their joy, fascination and wonder at the world about exploring real and imaginary worlds and forming positive relationships.
